I have been a professional
photographer since 1995. I received an HND with merit from Glasgow college
of Building and Printing, and while still a student I won a competition
with the Independent newspaper to document Student Life. This enabled me
to get my first job at a local newspaper in Glasgow.
From there I was asked to join a news press agency in Edinburgh working for all
the national newspapers
and magazines. My photographs were published in newspapers such as The Guardian,
The Independent, The Times, The Herald, The Scotsman, The Daily Record, The Daily
Mail and the Express.
After nearly four years in Edinburgh I was asked to join a PR agency in Glasgow.
There I worked for many businesses including M & S, Coca Cola, Scottish Enterprise,
Big Lottery Fund, Clydesdale Bank, Bank of Scotland, Princess Trust and The Scottish
Tourist Board.
From there I decided to set up my own company specialising in Wedding Photography.
My aim was to photograph the day in a truly reportage style,trying to capture
the real feeling of the event . After years of experience photographing weddings
all over Scotland I still enjoy every couples day, from discussing all the details
to the delivery of their finished album.
